What forms of payment do you accept? This website uses a PayPal shopping cart. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through PayPal. Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store? No, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store. (Just follow the prompts at check out.) How secure is this store? This store uses PayPal for payments. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). How do I specify colour and charm theme for my order? Simply add a note in the on screen box. If you have any other details add them in the message to seller box on the PayPal page. Some popular charm themes can be found on my charm theme page. Any problems just contact me via email or give me a ring. Can I order an exact item from your website? Generally my items are one-offs so it is not always possible to replicate an exact item from my website. I cannot guarantee the product you receive will be exactly the same as the one you see on the screen. The pictures are examples of the items I make. Please include details of your preferences when you order or feel free to contact me prior to ordering to discuss your preferences. Do you make pieces to commission? Yes, please get in touch, I would love to hear from you and will try and meet your request. Most items are handmade to order, so I can make you an item in a certain colour scheme to match an outfit, or incorporate your personal buttons, beads and charms into your item. Look at my commissions page for more information. Can I have an item sent direct to someone else? If you are sending your purchase to someone else, or as a gift, please let me know and I can send it straight to the recipient with a handwritten message at no extra cost. Please email me the delivery and message details to alison@buttonbothy.co.uk  What should I do if I want to cancel my order? You the customer have the unconditional right to cancel your order in compliance          with the Distance Selling Regulations. If for any reason  you would like to cancel your order contact me at alison@buttonbothy.co.uk  up to the seventh day after receiving your order. If you cancel your order after it has been dispatched you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item, see my returns policy for further details.

Dispatch times I aim to send all orders out within 3 working days. Generally my products are made to order and this can take a little longer at busy times. If you need an item quickly do contact me. Delivery Costs Postage and packaging within the UK is at a cost of £3.75 per order. Orders over £35 are shipped for free. International Shipping I regularly send items internationally. Please contact me for international orders and I will send you an invoice including international shipping charges. Delivery method All UK orders are sent First Class with the Royal Mail and should take 1-3 days to reach you after dispatch. Overseas orders are sent by “International Signed for” with the Royal Mail and should take 5-10 days. Packaging Care is taken when packing your item to help ensure it reaches you in pristine condition. I sometimes use recycled packaging materials where suitable. Please contact me if your item arrives damaged in any way. Delivery to a different address If you are sending your purchase to someone else, or as a gift, please let me know and I can send it straight to the recipient with a handwritten message at no extra cost. Returns policy I hope that you are happy with your purchase, however if you are not please do get in touch with me as soon as it arrives. I offer a no quibble returns policy if contact is made within seven days of receiving your order and I am happy to refund, or exchange for an item that would suit you better. If an item is faulty then please contact me, I am happy to repair, or offer a full refund or exchange. The postage on returning an item will be at cost to the buyer apart from in the instance where the item is faulty or the wrong item has been sent. I cannot be held responsible for returned goods being lost on their way to me. If returning a product to me please retain proof of postage.
